Churchill Brothers lost 2 - 5 to Al Wahda in ACL play off

Three-time UAE League champions Al Wahda beat Indian I- League defending Champions Churchill Brothers 5-2 in the AFC Champions League play-offs at Al Nahyan stadium on Saturday to qualify for the group stage of the competition.
Churchill Brothers took the lead in the 41st minute through Japanese midfielder Dan Ito but Al Wahda levelled the score through their Brazilian striker Fernando Baiano.The First half scoreline was 1-1.
In 2nd half Al Wahda made th socreline 4-1 through Mahmoud Khamis and Abdulraheem Juma and Baiano. Churchill Brothers pulled a goal back in the 77th minute through L.Dhanachandra Singh (4-2).
In 85th minutes of the match Al Whda scored their last goal through Ismaeil Matar sealed (5-2).
Al Wahda enter Group B of the AFC Champions League along with two-time ACL winners Al Ittihad, 2008 semi-finalist Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan, who also reached the last eight last year, and Iranian outfit Zob Ahan. (2010 год)
